Fields of interest, teaching experience:

Statistical multivariate analysis of data; statistical aspects of data mining and knowledge discovery in databases; nonparametric methods of computational statistics, in particular stochastic approximation and curve estimation (both theory and applications); neural networks; quality (or statistical process) control; statistical consulting. Since 1991 teaching courses on statistical process control and applied statistics in industrial settings. Since 1975 teaching university courses at all lelvels, from elementary probability and statistics, operations research, stochastic control, mathematical modelling to advanced probability and statistics.
